1. Watch the Fireworks Over Baltimore's Inner Harbor
The largest and most iconic Independence Day tradition is when Baltimore's Inner Harbor comes alive with live music, waterfront dining, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks display over the harbor on the 4th at 9:00pm. Arrive early to enjoy live entertainment, local food vendors, arts and crafts, and family activities at one of Baltimore's waterfront celebrations this year.
2. Experience the Dundalk Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks
Just a short drive from Greenleigh, the Dundalk Independence Day Parade is one of Maryland's longest-running patriotic celebrations. Featuring marching bands, military units, classic cars, community organizations, and hometown pride, it's a special tradition for families of all ages.
There's also a Fireworks display on the 4th at 9:15pm.
3. Enjoy a Full Day of Family Fun at Fullerton Park
From 2:00 until 9:15pm culminating is a big fireworks display, head to Fullerton Park for their now expanded annual celebration just a few minutes from Greenleigh.
4. Explore America's Railroad History
As part of this year's America 250 celebration, the B&O Railroad Museum offers special patriotic programming, interactive exhibits, and family activities that celebrate the innovation and history that helped shape our nation. It's a fun and educational outing for visitors of all ages.
